With all long term packages, housekeeping and towel service is not provided and tenants must agree to live within the University of Victoria Community according to the terms outlined in the Summer Agreement.
Additional details regarding check-in, maintenance, etc. are available online in the Summer Session Handbook.
Similar to an apartment, cluster units are self-contained with 4 bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Units come with two washrooms, a separate shower room and each bedroom has one single bed with linens, a desk and dresser. The living room is furnished with a loveseat and coffee table. The kitchen has 2 fridges, stove, dishwasher and dining room table with chairs.
Individual bedrooms or a full 4 bedroom unit can be rented and internet service is provided in bedrooms.
Sharing a cluster unit is advantageous for people who like to cook for themselves and want to experience community living. Cooperation and communication are a requirement to share a cluster unit. All 4 tenants are responsible for the cleanliness, providing items like kitchen supplies, television, cable, phone, etc.
Every effort will be made to inform cluster residents of the arrival of new roommates. This will allow unit members to ensure the unit is clean. Residence Services reserves the right to inspect units prior to new arrivals.
When renting a bedroom within a cluster unit, you can request to be placed with certain people (they in turn must request to stay with you) and applications should be submitted at the same time.
$590.88 per person (1 single bedroom) per 30 consecutive nights
